An oasis of greenery « Lilas » Cottage

The Lilas cottage, sleeping up to 5 people, is set back off the central courtyard of the domain and consists of 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a spacious living area and a generous outside space with terrace and garden. It is in a typical French style featuring beautiful stonework, exposed timbers, traditional wooden shutters and a warm terracotta roof. Entrance to the cottage is across the charming private terrace which is surrounded by plants and flowers. An ideal place to relax and unwind with an aperitif in hand.

« Lilas » Cottage Living spaces

The lounge area is bright and spacious with high ceilings which are a feature of the whole living space. There is a large comfortable ‘L’ shaped sofa, where you can curl up, relax and watch Sky TV if you feel like you want to connect with the UK. This cosy area connects to the fully equipped kitchen and dining area kitted out with everything you could need to help your holiday go smoothly. There is the usual fridge, washing machine, dishwasher and microwave. Add to that a sleek Nespresso machine for that important morning coffee, and with a nod to safety there is also a child friendly induction hob. The downstairs bathroom/shower room comes in handy after a dip in the pool.

Upstairs there are 2 bedrooms and the large contemporary family bathroom has a bath/shower, toilet and a generous sink. The main bedroom has a large king – sized bed and extensive fitted wardrobes. The old cottage beams and slanted roof add to the room’s charm. Bedroom No.2 has ample room for 3 single beds and the fitted wardrobes easily accommodate the clothes of 3 adults or children. It is worth mentioning that both bedrooms have independent air conditioning units. In the height of summer, a cool night’s rest is an added bonus! With safety again in mind, there is a security gate for the top of the stairs if required.

« Lilas » Cottage Outside spaces

As mentioned, the Lilas cottage has its own terrace of 17sqm. This private space for al fresco dining is also a comfortable space to read. It has a lovely view of the surrounding gardens and the central fountain at the farm. Another advantage of this cottage is its proximity to the evening restaurant and bar. It is perfectly located for baby phones while dining.
